Nuevo México
In northern New Mexico, our people have always known the value of life.  We are moving forward into an age of harmony and casting off the the cloak of oppression.

Community Development in the Española Valley Region of Northern New Mexico is our mission.  We focus on local economy building through sustainable agriculture, healthy environment, and civic engagement projects to address the great need of our communities.  Statistics show that the over 80% Indo-Hispano population in our area makes up those who experience the growing rate of economic poverty (26.3% below the poverty level), drug abuse, alcohol fatalities (highest in NM), and teen pregnancy.

Our projects engage, educate, and empower the strengths of our land-based peoples using grass-roots, family-to-family community organizing methods.  Our organizers span three generations and collectively hold hundreds of years of community building experience.  We develop partnerships with individuals, organizations, and foundations which intend to create change through long-term sustained action.  We hold a vision of complete community health that is built on the dynamic re-vival of traditional Indo-Hispano culture.
